Annie and Winton meet in the hall close by the huge oak doors. Oh, dear Winton. Did you hear Annie asked worriedly. Winton shook his head No, ma’am I did not. Alfred said that Miss Kate was hurt… Alfred said she called him from the Hospital. Annie rushed Winton’s eyes widened Oh, does the Mr. and Mrs. Know? No, Alfred said Miss Kate demanded him to shut his mouth… Annie complained Winton nodded You know the Mr. and Mrs. would have us all fired, the Miss is only helping us. Annie was shocked Mr. Winton! Oh I hope the poor dear is ok. Winton nodded in agreement. Both Winton and Annie fell quite until the car arrived.
---20 mintues later---
The car started to come closer to what looked like a castle along a long stretch on fields and paddocks. A barn could be seen the doors closed up and with only a small light was on. Then you could see a small building almost like apartments on the other side of the barn. A few minutes later Alfred turned the limo onto the long gravel drive way leading right to the Castle house. Pulling up around to two huge oak doors and stopped. Alfred jumped out ran around to open the door for the Miss Kate and young lad at the same time the oak doors opened up. Kate Stepped out of the car and waited for Hannibal to step out as well. The rain had stopped and only a cool breeze was left behind.

Hannibal stepped out of the car, looking at the house in awe. It looked like a castle it was so huge. He felt so underdressed oddly. Just dressed in his black jeans and tight black shirt. His leather jacket in hand as his boots carried him toward the large oak doors. He looked over at Kate, amazed that she lived in such a place this awesome. "Holy crap, your house is huge." Hannibal said as his eyes roamed the sight before him. It was amazing. If he was in a cartoon his jaw would have dropped to the ground in astonishment as the looks of the house. He couldn't imagine how the place looked on the inside. One room was probably as big as his whole apartment.
He walked with Kate, being kind of slow but not really. He was still amazed by the house, so he followed her, not wanting to get lost. He didn't know if her parents were home either. They probably weren't since she had told the driver not to mention anything. Obviously if they were home they'd see her face, but if they weren't, and they'd be gone for a period of time she was safe. Her wounds weren't horribly bad so they would heal in a pretty decant amount of time. It wasn't like what his house used to be, where he'd walk in after a bad situation and try to hide but he wouldn't be able to because his father was right there. Hannibal had a bad habit of being late so it only raised his father's suspicions which was never good, especially when the man had no trust in him as it was.
comments;; sorry its short. lol it will get better, promise =]

Kate laughed when Hannibal said that her house was huge, but quickly cut off her smile due to the pain in the side of her face. Annie ran out saying oh my god, oh my god, My child what happened?! her face was in terror. Nothing annie I just ran into Jason. Please lets not talk about it we have a guest. Annie shut right up Your dinner is waiting for you Annie said to kate and Hannibal leading the way into the Great hall and through some door down to the kitchen. Kate looked at Hannibal, for some strange reason she wanted to take hold of his hand but firmly held herself back though Kate was pretty sure that her eyes told it all.
Kate and Hannibal walked into the kitchen two bowls awaited for them filled with steaming Potato soup the sweet cheesy smell mixed with the glorious smells of Irish spices. I hope you like Irish Potato soup, Sir. Annie said nervously. Kate gave a small smile trying to save herself the pain and looked at Hannibal again.

He watched as the lady came running out to see if Kate was alright. He stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt. When Kate mentioned they had a guest, Annie got really quiet and it was as if all attention was turned toward him. He just kind of looked at the ground as if she was talking about some other person. A bad habit of many for Hannibal. She then led them away to where their dinner was served.
Hannibal walked in he felt very out of place. He wasn't meant to be in a place like this looking how he did. He couldn't help but look at all the waiters and waitresses that lurked behind every corner. They were watching him and Kate as they entered the place and it was just another thing that gave him a feeling like he wasn't supposed to be here. They were watching him as if they were waiting for him to do something to give them an excuse to kick him out. Did he really look as if he’d do something horrible? Hoped not. Hannibal was busy looking at everything around him, and he looked at Kate for a brief second, offering her a faint smile as he met her eyes. Soon again he was back to looking at his surroundings and the lurking people. They bothered him. the sweet smell of the soup overwhelmed Hannibal's senses and it was then that he realized how hungry he was. The soup smelled fantastic. He was a huge fan of Italian and wasn't used to the new smells of the Irish spices. They definitely were different from anything he'd had before. "Thanks ma'am." Hannibal spoke softly, his tones coming on as sort of shy and quiet, although that was the complete opposite of whom he was. He was outgoing and a total goofball, but how nervous she was, made him just feel the need to be quiet.
He looked back over at Kate, a faint smile forming on his pale features once more. She kept looking at him with those gorgeous eyes of hers. He pulled out a chair for Kate, although he'd figured one of the servants might have done it, he did it anyway, and set himself in the chair beside her. "Looks great, thanks." he murmured quietly to the few that stood around the table, one was standing awful close to him. He hoped they would go away.

Annie nodded, getting them their spoons and napkins placing them nicely on the table next to each bowl. Kate tried to hold back her smile as Hannibal pulled out her chair. Thank you Kate said softly pain struck the side of her face but Kate did not care. After Hannibal Sat down kate watched him for a moment realizing that he did not like the cooks there watching them. Kate gentle placed her hand on his knee and spoke relax She gave him a small smile, then Kate looked up at the cooks and said You may go now, all of you. One by one each of them left the room through a small door that led up stairs where they lived.
Kate removed her hand still watching Hannibal after a minute she spoke again Are you surprised? I mean at this everything… Kate was pretty sure what his answer was but she wanted to talk, and kind of get to you Hannibal. Kate looked down at her soup and suddenly wasn’t so hungry Maybe it was just that she was way more interested in Hannibal than eating right now. Reluctantly Kate picked up her spoon and took a few small bites. Then she looked back up to Hannibal Locking eyes with him as he answered her question.

He smiled fainty as she said thank you for and set herself down. He sat down beside her and looked at the silverwear. He was so glad it wasnt like those fancy resturants where there is like five different types of eating utensiles. He didn't pick up the spoon though because her hand rested on his knee and she whispered the him, saying that he needed to relax. Yes that was probably true, but he couldn't help it. He'd had bad run-ins with a lot of people and he never knew who these people were. Hannibal watched with careful eyes as he seen all the people leave. That was a good thing. He felt better now.
"Well, what do you mean by surprised? This place is amazing, but if you were thinking about the just the servants and stuff... that's an old habit and I can't help it." He ooked over at Kate with a very faint smile upon his features. He took a few small bites of his soup as he looked voer at her. He was so amazed to see a girl who lived as well off as her, to be beaten by a guy as harsh as Jason

Kate put down her spoon unable to make herself eat any more. Well it’s just that most people are very surprised by who I really am, I mean the daughter of one of the richest Men in the US. A great, great grand daughter to the Queen of England, an heir to almost 26 billion dollars, This house plus three others just like it in England, France, and China, And yet I get myself beaten up by a crazy ex- boyfriend, If you can call him that, because I left him because he only want me for my money, and sex and I wouldn’t give it to him- Kate stopped mid-sentence realizing that she just slaughtered herself in front of an almost complete stranger telling him almost everything.
Kate’s face turned a light pink as she looked down at the table not really looking at anything. She waited for Hannibal to say something but a minute went by and nothing kate didn’t want to look up and end up locking eyes again.

Whoa that was kind of terrifying. He felt very very very out of place now. Heir to a queen, and the daughter of one of the richest men alive. Wow. His father was a trashy alcoholic that beat him for many years, and his great great grandmother died at an early age in a car crash. There was nothing special about him at all, and yet he'd found Kate. A perfectly normal seeming girl with a crazy ex who was only her ex because he didn't respect her for who she was, but what she had, and even still she didn't respect her. He had just wanted things from her that she wouldn't give. He looked over at her with a collected expression even though he was slightly shocked about hearing all that. "Well. That's an interesting story you have there. Sorry to hear that your ex is obsessed with such things. I hate guys like that, girls too. They drive me insane with only a few things on their mind. There aren't enough people in the word who respect others for who they are." He said, trying to make it sound as though he wasn't completely taken aback by her words.
"So, umm, what do you think is in this soup? Smells great." He asked with a somewhat cheesy smile as he tried to make light out of strange conversation. He knew that when she looked down she hadn't believed that she'd said such a thing. She'd looked as surprised as he was. He tried not to stare at her, but he kept looking at her, waiting for some sort of reaction. It was a totally weird moment, and he couldn't help but look over at her. He kept thinking he should probably leave, because he didn't fit in and he didn't want to be a burden, especially if her parents came over. He wasn't good at meeting parents. He got all weird and stuttered a lot. A horrible pet peeve of his. He hated when he stuttered. It sounded horrible.

Kate could help but laugh at his words and without realizing it a small tear ran down her face and dripped off her nose. Hannibal seemed to be understanding but how in god’s name could he be, yet he kind of comforted her be trying to salvage the conversion.
Kate looked up Umm… In truth I don’t know maybe potatoes, and beacon. Kate giggled wiping her eyes feeling that they had flooded with tears from the pain in her face and the embarrassment of slaughtering herself. Kate desperately wanted the hug Hannibal for a number of things, first for following her and Jason out into the alley way and preventing Jason from killing her, although all he did was let Jason see him, then calling 911 and getting her help and then staying her at the hospital. Kate felt bad about that because all she did in return was give him a ride and offered him something to eat and she did not even really ask him her driver did.

Oh there were many things that Kate didn't know about him. He may not have gone through her specific situation where a guy wanted her for money and sex, but he's been wanted for sex, and abused because he didn't fulfill that person's want. He's dealt with guys like that, not so much girls, but girls usually scavenge for money. They are all about new stuff and wealthy guys. As guys were just abusive and if they didn't get what they wanted they beat the shit out of you until they got it.
He smiled faintly as she giggled. He was glad that he could make her laugh and not feel so embarrassed. He hated when he just started babbling and before he knew it he'd spilled out his life stories. It was a horrible feeling, saying all those things at random, especially when you really didn't want to admit to all those things in the first place. "I guessed that, you know since it's called Irish potato soup, but you know, I could have been totally wrong and maybe there was something else in it." he said with a shrug, and a soft laugh. There was the real Hannibal coming out. He was friendly and goofy. She would have never seen that with all those servants watching him like hawks. "I hate to say though, after they cooked us such a nice dinner. I'm not as hungry as usual..." he said, looking over at her with an innocent face.

Kate eyed her bowl thinking the same thing. She look up and smiled yeah same here. Kate picked up her bowl and carried it over to the skin and carefully placed it on the counter. Kate turned around facing Hannibal she leaned back putting her weight on the edge of the counter.
Heavy pounding sounds came from the walls as rain poured down hard against the house, a loud crack of thunder sent vibrations through the room. Kate looked up and knew it would not be safe to allow Hannibal to be driven in this kind of storm. Kate looked back at Hannibal locking eyes with him again; after a few seconds she said Do you want to stay here tonight… We have plenty of spare bedrooms you can choose from. Kate knew he’d be thinking that was a strange question but Kate did not care to much, he’d saved her life and helped her out and she was still in dept to him and saving him from a lighting storm could count a one dept paid out. It’s just I don’t want to send you and a driver out in this storm, it’s not to safe. Plus I still owe you. Kate giggled a little bit at her last words. Kate winced from a sharp pain in the side of her face. Her hand quickly flu up to comfort her cheek.

He looked over at her, and looked outside. It was pouring really hard outside, and he could see the lightning strike in the distance, following with a steady rumble of thunder that shook the room. He watched the rain fall for a, little while longer and looked back over at Kate, their eyes meeting once more. That seemed to happen a lot... She much be telepathic and read his mind or something, because that was kind of a strange question. Yes he understood she'd simply offered him a spare bedroom for the night, but still... It sounded... strange.
He smiled as she giggled but ceased to smile as he saw the pain wash over her features as it hurt her. "You don't owe me anything Kate." He said quietly as he stood up, taking his bowl in careful hands. He set the bowl in the sink and looked back outside. He didn't think it would be good to force someone out there to take him home. It was too wet and it was raining by the bucket out there. He could always go home in the morning to he was being a burden. "Well, I can't say no because I don't want to make someone drive me in that weather, and if I say yes too eagerly it might seem weird. So sure, that sounds great." he said with a faint smile.

Kate, still holding her cheek, did not know what to say to his first answer she just kept looking down as the pain slowly faded again. Then a shock cam then Hannibal spoke the second “if I say yes too eagerly it might seem weird.” Kate’s eyes widened a little but very quickly returned to their former position. Kate lowered her hand even though the side of her face still hurt a little. Slow but intentionally she brought her eyes up and locked them with his again, firm eye contact was important to her. Kate spoke in clam yet mixed voice You said that as if you are eager. she did not break eye contact and the way she hooked his eyes she knew it would be hard for him to look way. Kate did not know if she should feel relieved that she did not have to worry if he was okay out in the storm or concerned, her feeling were so mixed right now Kate couldn’t tell if she was happy your what… in simple confused feelings.

She looked at him very firmly and he couldn't look away. It's as if he said something that didn't appeal to her. He hoped not. He listened as she spoke then, saying that he said that as if he were eager. That's not how he meant it... He wasn't eager. They had just barley met there was nothing to be eager about. Sure, he didn't have to go out in the storm, yeah that was good, but he was calm and nothing was going through his head... OK well all kinds of things were going through his head because he was thinking now instead of talking... "Ok lemme just rephrase that. Thanks, not going out in the storm sounds nice." he said, saying it with a calm, and very even tone that didn't sound like anything other then what it was supposed to sound like, or so he thought. He simply thanked her for giving him the chance to stay away from the storm.
He didn't look away because he had no reason to look away. If he looked away it would make him look guilty... He didn't know exactly what he'd look guilty of because at this moment his thoughts were quite uneven and he had too many little things running through his mind. He offered a polite smile trying to ease the firmness of her gaze. It was kind of weird really, because she wasn't staring, but she was just casually glancing at him. He hated awkward silence that over took them, but the only thing he could think about saying was 'yeah that was weird...' but then silence would consume then once more after he said something dumb and obvious. So he refrained from speaking.
