Hannibal stayed calm as she held onto him. He looked at her with a soft expression on his features as she loosened her grip and calmed herself. The tears stopped falling as she pulled away from him and wiped the streaks off of her features. Hannibal's brown eyes fell to the floor as he listened to her shaky tone apologize for her actions. Her next comment threatened to bring a smile across his emotionless features. No, he didn't like to see her cry like that but he didn't mind the hug. He brought his eyes up to her facial features then, and spoke in a soft tone. "It's not a problem. I can understand how badly it hurts to have lost your mom and dad. I lost my mom a few years back." he said in his soft and gentle tones. He wished he had something classy and inspirational that he could say about loosing a loved one, but nothing came to mind. Out of everything he's read he could think of anything to lighten up the situation.
With a hesitant hand he reached out to her and took her hands in his, and looked into her eyes. A soft breath escaped his lungs and he spoke. "You must know that by now, I am not gonna just leave you alone... I followed you outside when there was trouble. If you need anything, I'm here for yeah." Hannibal said quietly, a very faint smile forming on his features. He would help her whenever he could, and he's sort of grown to her. He couldn't help but like her, even though they hadn't met all that long ago.

Kate gave Hannibal a very weak smile as she said Thank you, Hannibal. Hannibal’s hands were soft and gentle. Kate was glad he was here with her to comfort her in her darkest time yet. I think I might go to bed Kate said her eyes felt heavy from crying. Kate then realized that she was still soaked from swimming and she needed to shower before going to bed or she would wake up with ugly feeling skin. Kate gave a weak laugh well I’ll go to bed after I shower… to get the pool chemicals off. Kate locked eyes with Hannibal but then she broken eye contact. After a minute of sitting on the floor Kate tried to stand up but her legs were drained of energy and that made it hard to keep her balance.

"Well, maybe with as weak as you are, a bath might be a little better for you. It will also give you a little time to relax before going to bed." he said as he rested his hands on her shoulders to help keep her steady. She wasn't very stable at the moment after such harsh news and even standing still she looked uneasy. A nice shower or bath and off to bed was definitely the best thing for her at the moment. A refreshing sleep would help calm her mind which would make it easier to accept the fact that her parents died. He kept his hands in place just a little longer then carefully re moved them, but stayed close in case she needed a little bit of help.
Yeah he knew she had maids and servants that were supposed to be there and help her with her every whim, but Hannibal was here too and he was just as helpful, if not more helpful. He could partially understand her pain and hurt. He just hoped that she wouldn’t be as bothered about their death’s as he was about his mothers. Months of therapy is like walking into hell every morning after you just woke up. Some days, he didn’t even think it felt like it helped any, it was all just a pointless waste of money.

Kate nodded in agreement as Hannibal helped her steady herself. Kate turned around toward the stairs and started walking toward them.
As kate stumble toward them she grabbed the railing to steady herself as she made her way up to her room which had a huge connecting bathroom with a big marble bathtub in it.
As kate walked into her room she left the door wide open reveling the hug king sized bamboo lined both side bed covered with gold Egyptian cotton sheets and a huge gold blanket with amazing texture to it. The bamboo poles that sat on all four corners connected each other with gold shaws that flowed gently down the sides of the poles. The golden brown desk and dressers made with Egyptian wood gave the room a very royal look and feeling the red and gold rug in the middle of the huge room covered a good part of the wooden floor.
Kate made her way to the door lined in gold. As Kate opened the door you could see the marble floor and white falls with a gold tint to them Kate leaned over a huge bath tub also made out of marble and turned the sliver handles turning on the hot water Kate also turned the other silver handle but not as must the hotter the water the better Kate would feel for now.
Kate looked up with heavy eyes to see Hannibal standing at the stair landing watching her. Maybe to make sure she wouldn’t fall over walking through her room…

Hannibal stayed behind her on the stairs, and when she nearly stumbled backwards his hands were up as to catch her, but a firm hand had gripped the rail. It prevented her from falling backwards onto him as they made their way up the stairs once more. Hannibal's hands fell to his sides again as she seemed to make the rest of the way up the stairs without a bit of trouble. He pulled the towel slightly, drying off his skin as best as he could. Whenever one went swimming the chlorine left a strange feeling on your skin, kind of a slick feeling. It took away the softness of your hair as well, making it feel greasy and almost hard. He walked down the hall to the door that was there for Kate's room and he just stayed out in the hall. His deep brown eyes looked upon the room in amazement and then followed her figure as she walked toward another door revealing a glistening white bathroom with what looked to be marble bath tub. He didn't know what to do now as he stood out away from her door.
He couldn't really help her with anything at this point, but he still kind of stood out there. He saw her looking back at him and a small smile crossed over his features. He held the edges of the towel as he stood there for a moment longer. His lips parted to speak as he didn't want to stand here for too long. It would make him look strange. "Well, is there any time we should plan on getting up?" he asked, looking at her from where he stood on the landing. He didn't know how their day would go, especially since it was so late in the morning already. Whether he'd be taken home right away or if he'd be able to hang out for a little while more since her parents weren't --. He just stopped his thoughts at those last few words, not even daring to think about that horrible twist that life had taken. Hannibal looked at Kate as he waited to see what she'd say.

Kate walked toward Hannibal, she did not stop at the doorway but she kept going until she was a foot and a half away. Kate locked eyes, although they were heavy and kind of pink from crying they told Hannibal that Kate was happy he was here. Kate reached up and wrapped her arms softy around Hannibal’s neck again giving him a softer hug then last time.
Kate let go of him and turned around walking back into her room and just before Kate shut the door she said Sleep as long as you want. then the door was shut softy.
Kate made her way back into the bathroom. As Kate entered her bathroom she slowly took off her bikini dropping it where she stood. Slowly Kate climbed into the tub filled with hot water.

He met her eyes for a moment as she stepped closer to him. He wrapped his arms gently around her figure as they hugged again. This time he didn't feel like he was being choked to death, it was a much softer and easier hug then the last time. He let go and nodded as she answered his question. Then turned and walked toward the room that was his for the time being. He ruffled his long brown hair with the towel and hung it up so it could dry. He pulled off the under shirt that he'd swam in and looked away from the mirror as he did this. He pulled on his other shirt again and then his pants. He put his socks back on but not his boots. They were still very wet on the inside.
Hannibal walked outside and reached his long arms out toward the sky, as a yawn stretched his facial features. He was a bit tired, but he could never sleep when it started to get lighter outside. He rested his elbows on the railing and looked out into the sky. It wasn't very light outside yet, but it would get lighter soon. His deep brown eyes looked in the direction to his apartment where he still lived with his dad. He planned on moving out of that apartment as soon as he could. This would be one night where he didn't see his father's drunken mug walk in at an early hour. A heavy sigh escaped his lungs as he stayed quiet for a moment.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hannibal had almost fallen asleep outside, but it got colder and he'd reluctantly went inside again. He'd flopped down on the bed, letting his arms hang over the edge and letting his head rest on the pillow. Easy breaths were drawn in and let out as he lay still on the bed. He didn't stir as he laid there, sleeping.

Kate was in the bath for a long time before she got the will to get out and get dressed.
Kate drying her body with a clean towel then Kate pulled on gold silk sleeping pants and a gold silk button up shirt.
Kate walked slowly toward her soft bed and heavy sat down after moving the blankets, Kate sat there for an unknown amount of time before she laid down. Kate pulled the blankets over her body and clear up to her neck….
A black tunnel surrounded kate the only light was at bright white light at one end with two shadows standing there as if they were waiting for something. Kate started running toward them but she could not reach them. It seemed that with every step she took they got farther and farther away. Kate ran as fast as she could and they just kept getting farther from her hands….
Kate shot up still in her bed, her clothes stuck to her from a cold sweat. Kate did not remember what happened, she did not even remember falling asleep. It took Kate a few minutes to remember that her mother and father were now dead and were never coming back. Kate lay lazily back down on the bed. Sighting as her head hit the pillow she wanted to cry but no tears would come out.
Kate got up and pulled off her gold silk garments and pulled on a dark blue jeans and a white long sleeved shirt. Kate picked up her brush and brushed her long brown hair pulling it up into a middle leveled pony tail. Then Kate walked out of her room and down the stairs stopping on the second floor at her parent’s room. Kate opened the door and looked at their clock that sat by their bed 10:15 am. Kate slowly closed the door again Ruben! Kate Yelled for the butler
After two minutes Ruben came to her Yes Miss Kate? he said calmly. I want this door blacked off at any means possible. Nothing is to be moved inside, seeing this door will only make it harder. Understood? Kate demanded, then she walked off without waiting for an answer.
Kate walked into the living room and sat down on in front of the piano and started playing. Her fingers moved gracefully over the keys as she played her mother’s favorite song.

Hannibal stretched lightly as he yawned and freaked out as he was laying on the edge of the bed. He fell off the mattress and to the floor. He stood up quickly and rubbed the back of his neck as he looked around. No one was around so it was all good. He didn't figure anyone would have heard that he fell to the floor since this was such a large house. There were three floors and a basement, so he didn't figure it was heard. He stretched his arms out again and didn't have to worry about falling. He rubbed his eyes with his fingers and mopped his hands over his features as he tried to wake himself up. He was bad with mornings and he was never really awake until an hour after he got out of bed. He looked over at the clock and had to stand a little closer to see that it read 10:30. Wow, the earliest he's probably ever woken up without needing an alarm clock.
He opened his door a bit and looked out into the hallway. He didn't see anyone out there, which wasn't too abnormal he guessed since it was so large, but how was he supposed to know where Kate was? She could be anywhere. Before he had even fully stepped outside the door one of the butlers caught Hannibal by surprise and he jumped back slightly, a frown showing on his features as he looked at the man with a glare.
"Sorry to disturb you, but I sense that you're a bit lost. If I am thinking right, Miss Kate is down stairs if she is whom you're searching for." he said, calmly directing Hannibal toward the stairs where Kate had gone only 15 minutes earlier.
Hannibal slipped out the door and kind of looked over his shoulder as the butler looked at him, just smiling. He shuddered slightly and walked quickly, but quietly down the stairs. "Kate?" he asked wonderingly.

Kate did not hear Hannibal calling for her because the piano was louder than his voice unless he yelled.
Kate continued to play the song over and over again, and on the fourth time it did not feel like it was her playing but it seemed it was her who was listening to someone else play.
Kate’s eyes were closed as her hands moved back and fourth across the keys.
Kate did not hear anyone come in but she felt that someone was watching her play so at the end of the last note instead of replaying the song again Kate stopped. Then simply said in a calm and missing tone My mother’s favorite song. Kate paused She taught me it when I was six years old Kate stopped and just waited for someone to speak.

Hannibal leaned himself up against a wall as he listened to her play. Over and over again she played the song. Just letting her fingers grace the keys of the piano like she had no care in the world. She made playing the piano look as easy as walking on solid ground. It was a simple task for her and she was great at playing. Her fingers finally stopped as she finished the song for the fourth time, and didn't look back but he knew she'd felt someone was watching her. She may not have known it was him, but you can always tell when someone is watching you. Her vocal chords produced the vibrations to create words from her mouth and the room was quiet as if her words were more important then anything else that could have gone on in this world. "That's a beautiful song. I can see why it was her favorite. It must be great to have such good things to remember your mother by. Although her passing is hard you can always look at the good things she handed off to you." he said in quiet tones after she had finished speaking. Hannibal did not move toward her, nor did he move away. He just stayed leaning against the wall as his arms crossed over his chest. Was indeed a gorgeous song to listen to and it was tragic that she had heard that news early this morning. What a horror to live through.

Kate Placed her hands back on the keys and started playing a darker song something you’d might hear in the movie sleepy hollow. Four long minute kate played the darkening song. Then her hands rested. Kate stood up and turned toward Hannibal locking eyes with him there was something very different about the way her eyes looked as if a wild animal had been turned loose inside her, kind of like a wolf’s eye. Her voice seemed more unpredictable… right now being on edge sounds like paradise. Kate was pushed over by there deaths and the kate Hannibal knew last night, the kate who hugged him twice, the kate he comforted when she needed it was fading quickly and the beast that was inside everyone was stronger now. That one was that first song I ever bound to.

Hannibal listened in silence as the song she finished and the new song that she played were completely different. This new song was dark and sounded dangerous. The notes were low and had almost a threatening sound to them as she pushed down the keys. Her fingers were still just as graceful as she played the dramatic, yet frightening song. It sounded as though she was trying to chase away any happiness that she had in her life by playing that song. That song sounded like something right out of a horror movie, like it was the song that represented her life.
She stood and locked their gazes together for a long moment of silence. Hannibal studied her eyes, not seeing any love or compassion in them, but there was a darkness that was cold. It was such a deep feeling that it was almost real, like something Hannibal could have reached out and touched with his hands. There was no trace of the Kate he'd known last night within her eyes and everything else about her. The girl had changed, like some inner switch had been flipped and brought out this new, kind of really sexy but terrifying side of Kate. He looked at her and was silent as she spoke. "What's wrong with you? You're very different." he said, using the term different very lightly. She didn't even sound or act like the same person.
He still stood against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest as he watched her in silence. He didn't speak, nor did he retreat. He wanted to see what she was going to do. It was almost as if he was faced with a demon, or something that had possessed the girl he'd known as Kate.

Kate did not know what to say to answer his question. She did not even know what she was feeling… wait yes she did she wanted revenge for her parents and one way or another she was going to get it.
Kate looked way closing her eyes for a few minutes seeing nothing but blackness, almost as if she was fighting something. When she opened her eyes again and locked eyes with Hannibal she seemed softer but that darkness still lurked.

He walked closer to Kate. There was no hesitation in his steps, but there was curiosity. It drew him closer to her as the two of them stood in silence. He didn't know what that was, what beast it was that lurked inside of this pretty sweet seeming girl. It was as if she changed personalities for a short while. Now as she locked their gazes her eyes were softer, but still that thick darkness, that danger lurked with her optics, showing that she had not completely been able to push it away. She hadn't the will power to rid the evil that lurked inside her. His gaze was calm as he stopped maybe two feet in front of her, and he didn't divert his eyes. They stayed focused on hers.
Everyone had an inner evil, it just came out more in some then it did in others. Her evil was pure and deadly, as was seen in her eyes. She'd taken too many hits in life and she was ready to explode. In one hand this new view of Kate was very, very sexy... but in the other it made Hannibal wonder. He didn't know what she was feeling, but it drew his curiosity outward. He didn't know where that came from and he wished he could find out. "Kate, sit with me." he said in a very calm, almost emotionless voce as he directed her over to a couch where he could sit her down and hopefully get her to calm down. He sat down beside her and still studied her eyes. He wanted to kiss her badly, but stayed still and quiet for the moment. "Are you feeling ok?"
