Jacoby smiled slightly as she used a very motherly tone to control the kids. She must have been very used to being around these guys, almost like a mother. He still had not a seen a mother so he guessed that there wasn't one. He watched as the kids answered more politely the second time and she looked over at him. "I'll get the grilled cheese." he offered with a smile as he washed his hands. He turned the stove on and found a skillet to cook the sandwiches on. "You want one?" he asked, making sure he knew how many too cook. The kids all wanted one and he'd have one that was five.
Hailey smiled. "As long as none of them are gonna freak out, I'll be fine." she said with a laugh as she thought of the numerous times that Badra had thrown her off because of those yellow flowers that frightened her so badly. She headed out to grab Jovy as she looked at Joe for a second.

Sure I'l have one She said washing her hands and filling the pot half-way and put the pot on the cook top. She waited for it to boil before dumping the noddles in the pot. She looked at Jacoby side ways and said You look at ease with cooking
He smiled and watched her for a second. Her walked over to the school horse barn and smiled. Come on Anime, time for your workout. he said clipping the lead rope on the four year-olds halter.

He nodded and prepared the sandwiches. He got out the bread and the cheese and made them up with a very light coating of butter on either side before setting them onto the skillet, which had been warming up while he prepared the sandwiches. There was a soft sizzle as the butter side down landed on the hot surface but it died down and cooked the bread. He smiled slightly at her comment. "I learn quickly when I watch people and I was always in the kitchen when my dad used to cook dinner. Now however I'm cooking daily for people in the nursing home since my grandparents are there." he said casually as he checked the sides that had been cooking. He flipped most of them over to get that sizzling sound again as their light brown faces showed now instead of the buttered sides.
Hailey smiled faintly as she turned her eyes away from Joe and walked over to Jovy, her tones were soft and gentle and she walked closer. "Hey, you're very pretty..." She murmured very quietly as she neared the creature and stroked its muzzle gently. She loved being around horses and ponies. She wished she could have had one since she was a little kid but her mother had always said no.

((by the by, Jovy is a white arab/quarter horse pont , FOxy is a roan quarter horse and Toffie is a dun with a flaxen mane Pony of America that is very fat))
He slowly tacked up the hyper warmblood and led her to the arena. He had set up some warm up fences and a gymnastic excercise .He had to schol his little girl today before Anok rode her . He would make sure that she wasn't too tierd for her lesson later today.
That's sweet she said sitting on the counter and stiring the noodles idly. She watched the kids set the table and pour each person a glass of water. THey were pretty sweet kids if you treated them right.

"Well, since I can't really help out any other way. I figured I'd help by doing something I'm good at." he said with a smile as he flipped the rest of the sandwiches seeing that they were all finished now. He put each of them onto plates and cut them carefully so they'd be easier to eat and so they'd cool faster. "Alright, grilled cheese is done." he said as he turned off the side he'd been cooking on and rinsed the skillet in water that wasn't cool, but not too hot. He leaned up against the counter and watched as the kids each helped on another out. When he and Hailey were that age they were almost always fighting... They were never pleasant, helpful kids.
Hailey stroked Jovy's muzzle and ran a hand down her neck as she carefully took hold of the halter and took her out of the field so she could tack her up and then start the warm ups. She liked this place already for she felt very at home here. Yeah, she didn't know many people here, but so far every one she has met has proven that this is a nice place. Maybe she could live up here instead of moving back home.

ANd the maccaronie is finished she said dumping the noddles in a bowl and stiring the cheese in quickly. She placed it at the table and smiled at Jacoby. She nodded to the seat beside her. These kids were too quiet in her opinion but she knew it was because they were still slightly in shock about their mom.
Joe let Anime go a bit forward and round her frame as she liked to . It was ok to let her get relaxed and calm in the warm up. It would make her calmer for the rest of the day.

He smiled slightly as she looked over at him with a smile and nodded to the seat next to her. He pulled out her chair and helped the kids get settled in as he served everyone macaroni, until they said they had enough on their plates, he offered some to Nicole and finally served himself last. That’s his father's manners right there. 'You have to serve everyone else before yourself,' he always said, and it annoyed Hailey because she was always the type that wanted to do things for herself. He didn't see why she didn't just see it as a polite gesture, but either way. He finally set himself at the table, not knowing if they were into saying grace or not. He waited to see if everyone else started to eat first... before he might have done something stupid.
Hailey gave Jovy a quick brushing before tacking her up and taking her out to the arena. Hailey watched the creature move as she lead her around and finally mounted her. Hailey patted her neck lovingly and eased her into a smooth walk for a short time. She loved riding different horses, it was funny to compare them and see how bouncy Badra could be when she was excited. Next she eased Jovy into a smooth trot and Hailey's long blonde hair trailed behind her as she rode Jovy smoothly around the arena, moving with the horse.

The horse threw her head and stretched it forward trotting foreward and he let her not careing, she was going at a good pace and was just stretching her neck. He watched Hailey slightly with the corner of his eye.
She watched the little kids eye their meal hungrily. She knew it would be mean to make them sit threw a whole prayer so she just said God protect us and the horses and ponies. Amen they all echoed Amen she started to stuff their faces. she comfinded herself to takeing normal sized bites.

Hailey's long blonde hair bounced against her shoulders as she moved easily with the horse. She didn't want to overdo the warm up for the creature, but didn't figure she would. She was probably doing something wrong, for she had that sort of habit. She felt an itch underneath her skin as if someone was watching her, but as they rounded the area Joe had his back turned as he was busy with the horse he was warming up. A small, slightly nervous smile crossed the girl's features and she carefully ran her fingers through her long hair, pushing it over her shoulder again as she carefully directed the horse with one hand for a brief moment.
Jacoby dipped his head as the rest of them did. Nicole spoke the prayer and they all echoed Amen in the same breath and eagerly stuffed their faces full of food. Jacoby's amen slipped out with Nicole's and he picked up his sandwich. His mother and father had always yelled at him for eating with his fingers, so when he was at the home he ate with a fork. Now he enjoyed the simplicity of eating a grilled cheese sandwich with his hands, but at the moment he'd go for the mac and cheese. He picked up his spoon and scooped some up. "Mm, good stuff." he said with a smile, no joke being said. He hadn't had this in forever.

It's kid food, of course it's good she said with a smile. Quickly the sandwich disappeared and she started to scoop the warm mac and cheese into her mouth. The kids were really quiet but for a good reason, they were al devaoring their food.
He stopped watching her noteing that she was selfconscious. Once he sensed that his horse was warm and relaxed he started asking her to frame her body more.

comments;; La La La I know absolutely nothing about horses... sorry. Hailey worked with the horse for a little while longer. Completing a well rounded exercise for the horse and moved on to each of the others that she had also been told about before she had begun. They were easy to work with as well, and she was glad that she no longer felt the eyes upon her. Still, she guessed it was Joe although she had seen his back to her and paid attention to his horse. There didn't appear to be anyone else around, but either way she supposed it was just because she was new here. No one knew either Jacoby or Hailey, but she hoped she could make some friends. She didn't like to be lonely, and horses weren't enough company for her. Maybe she could hang out at the club and meet someone... Or she could get to know Joe and Nicole a little better.
A smile crossed over Jacoby's face as he finished up the mac and cheese and worked on the sandwich. He couldn't help but eat it slowly because of all the stringy cheese. He got yelled at when he ate with his fingers, even still today. His mother and father, although very ill and calm nowadays, were still feisty enough to snap at him 'Jacoby Anthony Vivian! Eat properly, not like a child.' and of course he would obey. It was impossible not too. Saying no to them might push them off the edge and drive his father into another heart spasm or cause his mother to go through another seizure.

Once done she sat back to wait for everyone else to finish. Good manners made her fight the erge to just go out to the horses.
He knew that he had to work Animation a lot longeur then any of the school horses because of her tender age and the fact that she was a head strong Dutch Warmblood. He took the same amount of time for one schoooling round that it took with three other horses together..
((sorry If I made no sense, I am soooooooo tierd that it is not funny))

Once she finished with the horses Hailey's eyes wandered back to the other arena where Joe still was working. She tucked her hands into her pockets and calmly wandered back over to watch him. She didn't intend on disturbing him while he seemed so focused. Mainly she kept her eyes on the horse's figure so if he looked back at her he wouldn't have thought she was staring. Her thin figure was leaned up against the gate, long light gold colored locks were draped over her shoulders and her chin rested on her arm. Light blue eyes gazing upon the scene.
Jacoby finished up his meal as one of the last. He was a slow eater and didn't worry about it. He felt full through his meals and didn't end up feeling hungry in an hour because he scarfed it down. He took some of the plates as everyone finished, and started on the dishes. This was a habit for him really, for he was always assigned dishes when he was growing up. He prepared dinner and usually did the after dinner work as well. He and Hailey fought a lot about chores when they were kids, but they turned out fine.

He knew that he was being watched but was used to it by now. Years of showing horses in all of the worlds curcuits have taught him to just concentrate on the horse, not people watching you. He finished the 3"3 course that he was doing. He knew that this little girl could jump 3"3 easy because they often needed to pull out the extra large jump standards when they free jumped her.
She dismissed the kids and went to help him with the dishs. She didn't particulairly like doing dishes but everyone has to do them so why fight it, it was just a waste of energy.

"What's the highest she's ever jumped?" Hailey asked softly, loud enough for him to hear her she was sure, but still quiet enough for the question to be dismissed if he was too focused on working with the horse. She didn't mind not having the question answered for she understood the need for concentration when working. Her light blue eyes moved with the horse and occasionally looked to Joe. The wind toyed with her blonde locks and she carefully ran her fingers through it and adjusted the pony tail a bit.
"You can sit if you want. I don't have a problem doing the dishes." he offered with a small smile as she scooted up to help him. Dishes weren't hard, nor were they something he really disliked. He didn't have a problem with them so they usually went by pretty fast. He buried his hands in the soapy water and picked up a plate. He rubbed it clean with the dish rag and made sure to clean it twice, then rinse it and set it off to dry. He was paranoid about dirty dishes.
