SHe half trotted towards them not wanting to miss out on anything. She pulled her elastic onto her wrist and clipped the clip she used to lkeep her bangs out of her eyes when she was riding on the elastic. Fingure combing her bangs to make them fall into place she tried to get what they where tlaking about.
Jpoe smiled. He loved helping horses learn that jumps or decorations wheren't going to kill them. Nicole, can you show jacoby where he can put his stallion and I'll show Hailey where hshe can put her mare he asked
Sure thing Joe she said with a mock salut. Joe allways asked for help but she was happy doing it, and half of her lessons were free. She waited for Jacoby to fallow her.

Jacoby lead Lucifer with a firm hand as for a moment he didn't want to move, but then he budged and Jacoby waited to follow Nicole. He looked over as his sister waved him off and went along with Joe. He looked back over to Nicole with a faint smile on his face. His blue eyes looked around for a second, not being the most talkative of people to break the silence that filled the area between them.
Hailey looked over to Jacoby and waved, as she'd see him later. She had to go explore the barn and then bring in a few more things for Badra. Her mare was looking around as the two walked. Her ears moved around a bit and her head was held just above Hailey's shoulder. "So we I wasn't like interrupting anything when I came up was I?" she asked, just wondering and so there wasn't silence.

No,no,not at all, I was just starting to excercise some of the horses he assured her. He wanted her to feel welcome, there wasn't many people at Paramount and he wanted the few who were here to feel welcome and at home.
Nicole smiled shyly and led him to the stallion/ gelding barn. THere weren't many horses in the stalls these days. Most of the boarders had moved their horses and ponies over to Green Briar a new and fancy barn with top of the line trainers and facilities. She liked it here though. The indoor arena might not be huge but this was her home away from home and she loved it. She stopped and petted some of the horses while she lead Jacoby towards a stall with some bedding in it for his stallion. there was allways an extra stall ready in case one of the field horses needed it.

Hailey nodded slightly, glad that she hadn't interrupted anything. Sometimes she just seemed to come up at the wrong moment and she didn't want to see like she'd been trying to do that. She was new here, as well as her brother. They'd moved up here to stay with their grandparents and it was rough because the poor old folks were suffering with the dreadful Alzheimer’s disease. They weren't themselves anymore, and their parents weren't here to help them out. Once again their conversation spiraled down to silence again. "If there's anything you need help with around here, let me know." she offered. Despite how she loved her grandparents, it was rough seeing them how they are and she'd much rather be here then there. The longer she was here the longer she could be away.
Jacoby looked around as they went toward the barn where Lucifer would be staying. There weren't that many horses here he'd noticed, but didn't say anything because this was a nice barn just the way it was. Being the quiet, not very social person that Jacoby was, it suited him here. There were a few people that he could get along with perhaps, and that was enough. Lucifer watched the other stallions as he walked down the isle with his head held high and ears standing tall. He was a big Hanoverian no doubt, but some of these horses would kick his butt if he got into a fight. "Thanks." He said, leading Lucifer into the stall. The stallion checked it out a bit and turned his head away from Jacoby. As he watched the others. He removed Lucifer's tack and left the stallion in the stall. "Anywhere I can put this?" he asked in his quiet tones as he looked over at Nicole.

Um maybe ther would be room in the tack room but you should get something with a lock if you are gonna be staying here for a while.Things have a habbit of disapearing. she said trying to help him threw the awkward stage of being new. She knew how it felt and didn't like it either.
Well if you really want to help you can help us excercise some of the school horses once your mare is settled. That would be a great help really he said showing her the stall she could use for her horse.

He nodded, that made sense. He didn't know all of the people here and it would be horrible to loose something. "Right, should have thought about that minor fact. Not everyone can be totally trusted." he said with a shrug. He'd never stolen anything before but that can't be said about everyone for there are many different kinds of people. So far everyone he'd seen here seemed nice.
"That sounds like fun. I'd love to help out." she said with a smile as she walked Badra into the stall. The mare looked around and nosed the buckets that hung one the wall before she stood calmly. Badra was easily moved into places and was a very calm horse so there was no worry.

if you want you can put your saddle in my tack box, I still have room for one more saddle she offered She didn't ever leave her saddle out enless she was there or one of her close friends was there.
Ok when you are ready I'll tell you which horses you can ride, but I need to know one thing, how good of a rider are you and be honest because we have some pretty nasty horses here he said just to be careful since he didn't want her to get hurt.

"Well, I have been riding since I was 10 years old, I just don't do a lot of jumping because of Badra's thing with yellow flowers." she said as she looked over at Joe. That was kind of weird that some of the school horses were nasty. You'd think that the school horses you'd want were gentle and easy for children to ride on, not nasty and hard to control.
"Thanks, hope it's not a bother. I'll be more prepared next time. It's been a rough time since my sister and I got here, a lot of things slipped my mind." he said with a small smile. He was glad someone had room because he didn't want to take this with him as he went to get some more things.

Oh no, don't worry, it isn't a bother at all, I have lots of room anyways. she said with a slight smile. She looked at her watch and smiled Lunch time she said softly You wanna go over to Joe's house and meet the kids, we can make sandwitches over there and come back ofter, Joe won't mind, I allways have lunch there
Ok then I'll give you the moderate horses, the easy horses get enough energy in their feild anyways. I bet you are wondering why we have crazy school ponies right? he said with a little smile. Everone allways wanted to know the answer to that question.

He smiled slightly, glad to hear that. It was always good to know he wasn't bothering anything. He listened to her words then and nodded slightly. "Yeah that sounds good." he said, thinking of the last time he'd eaten. He hadn't had anything since dinner last night because he woke up late getting here. He usually didn't eat more then two times a day anyway though.
"Yeah I was wondering about that." she said with a laugh as he practically read her mind. "Crazy ponies don't exactly sound like the type you would want younger riders learning on..." she said as she looked over at Joe. She was wondering about that answer and couldn't even guess what he might say for it. That was kind of a strange concept for Hailey to figure out so she listened.

She lead the way to Joe's house. It was a good size house for it's five inhabitants. She felt bad for Joe, he lots his wife this year and now he had his 4 kids to look after by himself, though the older did do a pretty good job at taking care of the little ones, even though she was only 4 and a half herself. Nicole and lots of other riders and their parents baby sat and cooked meals for the family as much as they could . She went in the back door, which was allways open, after all who would drive all the way out here to steal something? and said Hey my chicks, I have someone for you to meet! loudly hearing the girl's giggles and Andrew's laugh comeing from the play room.
Well he have the nice ponies and the old jumpers for the beginners and novices but then we have the tougher ponies for the older kids who have been around for a long time and can ride well but can't pay for their own horse. and then the moderate tempered horses for the advanced novices or the strong novice adults. he said with a smile, If that makes any sence at all he added.

Jacoby looked around the house as they walked in the back door. He heard all the laughing coming from another room and smiled slightly. He didn't see the mother of the household running around here. He figured a larger house with what he gathered to be quite a few kids running around would have to have a mother around here. He didn't ask though because he heard Nicole say to the kids that she had someone for them to meet. He chewed on his lip ring slightly and watched the rooms carefully, waiting to see them. "How many are there?" he asked wonderingly as he heard them all laughing and giggling.
She listened carefully, nodding slightly. That made more sense then anything that she could have come up with but it was still a tad bit of a strange concept, but hey, this was not her barn. Joe was doing great just the way he was running it. She didn't have any problems. "Ahh I see. That makes much more sense then any reason I could have come up with." she said with a laugh.

Four very lucky children that have a present waiting for them in Nicole's back pocket. she said winking at him. But if they don't want there present, then I guess.... she started but then three little girls and one boy came running into the room yelling PRESENT!!!!!!.Nicole smiled and fished a 10 dollar bill and said If you are really nice your dad might let us take you to the general store and you'll buy candy or something Truning to Jacoby she said Jacoby, meet Andrew,Sera, Alison and Gabby turning to the kids she said Andrew, Sera, Alison and Gabby, meet Jacoby. Rubbing her hands she said Now we can eat
Ok, well you can ride Jovy, Foxy and Toffie He said pointing at each of the horses in the paddocks.

Jacoby smiled as she said that and winked. He'd started listening to what she planned on saying but the screaming of four happy children echoed through the house as the three little girls and one boy came out of one room. Wow! They were definitely excited, but hey anyone is excited when they are getting a present. He smiled as he was introduced to the kids. He couldn't have been the most normal person they've seen, but no one was freaked out by him, thank god. He freaked out his youngest cousin and it made him laugh because he hated his aunt, but still he felt bad for making her cry every time they visited Hailey and him. He nodded as she said it was time for lunch. "What are we having? I'll help make it." He said with a smile. He loved to cook just as much as he loved to ride, he wasn't going to toot his own horn by saying he was a good cook, but he learned quickly from others.
"Alright then. Any specific way you usually warm them up?" she asked as she looked over at the three horses. That he'd pointed out to her.

Well chicks, what will it be grilled cheese or maccaronie? She said looking threw the cupboards and frigde.BOTH! yelled the kids. Nicole turned around and said Yelling is not very polit in a motherly tone. BOth please said the kids with their head slightly hung. Both it is she said turning to Jacoby. You wanna cover the maccoronie or the grilled cheese? she asked softly.
No not really, just walk, trot canter a bit and maybe a few little x-rails but you don't have to jump if you don't want to. he said.
