Well in that case your pony should have some easy walking time to stop him from being wineded up. Joe said teasingly.He looked at the girl asking who to talk to about boarding. That would be me. he said.
Nicole left the reins over his head and ran infrount of him slightly to get him to trot after her. after a few rounds she felt him relaxe and start playing with her more. And ran at the jump and jumped over it. Picasso had to choose to jump over it and be alone oor fallow. After a second's hesitation he jumped it and walked over to her , butting her for treats.

She smiled as she watched them all for a moment, her big blue eyes finding the girls with their horses and then finding the other with his horse. Badra lowered her head to Hailey's shoulder and watched all of them with careful eyes. Hailey raised a gentle hand to the mare's velvety soft muzzle and rubbed it gently, murmuring softly. She wished Jacoby was here too. She wouldn't feel so out of place being with people she didn't know. "Well, umm. I'm Hailey Vivian, and I was wondering if you had room for another boarder possibly?" she asked softly. Hailey wasn't the best at being around a ton of new people, but this wasn't bad she supposed. She walked Badra up closer to the fence so she didn't feel so far away from everyone else.
Jacoby was late. Late as always. He couldn't be anywhere on time no matter how hard he tried. It was just impossible for him and he felt bad for leaving Hailey all by herself. He knew they were supposed to check for boarding at that one stable, but he totally zoned out (as he always did). Jacoby got dressed quickly, pulling on some loose fitting dark grey jeans and a goofy shirt that read "Give a man a fish; he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll sit on the dock and drink beer for hours." His black hair was spiked up in all sorts of places and he walked outside. The ground was covered in mist, but he was cool with it. Mist was the best thing to ride in because it added a spooky look to the whole picture. Jacoby was all about spooky.
His horse's name was Lucifer for goodness sakes. He brought out the 3 year old black stallion who was only a year and a half younger then his sister's horse Badra. He mounted him and rode out down the trail, remembering where Hailey had showed him. They had gone here yesterday when they were bored, but no one was around so they had left. Now he remembered where to go and took off with Lou at a smooth canter. He didn't want to wear him out, they had a rough trip here a few days ago, and the guy was still adjusting. Jacoby spotted the white mare and his sister disappearing behind a building. Jacoby slowed Lou to a slow trot and they appeared beside the barn. "Hey Hailey! Sorry I'm late." |

Nicole looked at the peopl. Well Joe.......how are you gonna remeber all of these names....you can't call them all the new g-kid she said her eyes falling on the new guy. He was kind of hot. SHe jumped on her horse and troted him over the oxer again. Good boy she muttered.
He laughed at Nicole's comment. Ok single file children and one at a time. Raise your hand if you have a quesstion[/b] he said showing them around the stable yard

Lucifer and Jacoby watched Joe carefully. He looked over his sister who was stroking Badra's nose as the mare looked around the area. Jacoby walked next to her, with Lou's reins in his hands. Badra walked beside Hailey on her own, being much better trained then the stallion. He would wander off in a heart beat, or if something spooked him he would run off. Badra was calm and collected, which Hailey enjoyed about the mare. Hailey could be quite the party girl, but for the most part she was sweet and very kind. Jacoby on the other hand was more of the restricted type of person who kept himself quiet and didn't usually made anyone notice him unless he liked them. Then he was a goof and tried to show off. No girl since Kylie has been able to see another side in him besides his sister. He didn't trust girls well enough after Kylie. She ruined his life and tore out the only soul he had.
"This place is very nice, Joe." Hailey said quietly as her blue eyes wandered about the area. It was well taken care of and not over crowded, or maybe this was just a slow time of the day. Hailey wasn't exactly sure, but either way she liked it here after just looking around. It seemed that all the people had personalities, and their horses were awesome too. Hailey looked over at Jacoby and Lucifer as they walked beside her.
Jacoby's dark brown eyes were wandering about the area and Lou nickered as he saw the girl with the palomino stallion going over the oxers. |

Nicole patted her painted pony's eck and smiled. He was doingwell. She rode him over to the gorup lazily. time for intruductions.

Badra lowered her crown a bit to sniff the pony as he came over. She nickered softly and tossed her head, feathery locks bouncing a bit. Hailey smiled lightly and offered her hand to Nicole. "I'm Hailey, and that's Badra." she spoke slowly, as to not let her voice get the better of her by speaking in fast, hard to understand tones.
Jacoby was letting his eyes wander again as Lucifer looked over at the pony. He had his head behind Jacoby's back and it was lowered down to look at the pony at eye level. He tugged on his reins a bit and the black stallion snorted softly.
Hailey turned to see Lou's head behind her trying to look at the pony. She smiled and rubbed his nose gently. "This is my brother Jacoby, and his horse Lucifer." She said gesturing toward each of them as spoke their names and Jacoby looked over at her.
He knew she sometimes pointed at the right one but said the wrong name. She’d done that once before because she swore up and down that Lucifer controlled Jacoby instead of it being the other way around. He offered a faint smile as he looked over at Nicole. His eyes studied her features for a moment before he let his eyes fall to Lou, whose head was dropped to study the other horse carefully. The three year old stallion was energetic and lively, but he’d never hurt anyone. Only once he’d bitten Jacoby, but it had been an off day for the both of them… |

Picasso looked at both of the horses and snapped at the stallion slightly. Manners! she whisper yelled at her pony wo dropped his head accepting the new horses. I am Nicole and this is Picasso she said calmly and her horse pricked his ears and shot his head up at the sound of his name like he was at shows.

Lucifer snorted and dropped his auds, raising his crown higher then that pony could ever do. He stomped his hoof and snorted angrily. He pulled against his reins as to get away from the other creature. Jacoby held onto the reins and shook his head slightly. The stallion's dark brown eyes looked over at Jacoby then over at Picasso and turned his head away again. Jacoby sighed slightly. "Stallions are more of a pain then they are worth sometimes..." he said with a laugh as he looked over at Picasso. He was holding his head up high as if he'd won first prize in a show. Cute little guy.
"It's a pleasure to meet the two of you." she said as she stroked Badra's muzzle. She was looking around and paid no attention to the two creatures that were obviously not starting out very well already and they'd been next to each other for no more then two minutes. “Picasso is a cutie. How old is he?” she asked.

Only 9 so he is still a baby. I've had him since he was 3 and I've been training him all by myself. she said with a rush of pride. They might not have won any 1st places yet but the day he did, she would cry out in pride an joy. Picasso whinnied to his friend mares in the barn. The barn suddenly was full of replies. Picasso stamped a foot and shook his head allmost showing off. nicole laughed and noded.at Jocoby's comment.

Lucifer glared at the little creature again as he whinnied and the barn over flowed with replies to the whinny. Lou snorted and pulled on Jacoby's jacket sleeve, trying to get him to come somewhere else. That little pony was getting on his nerves. Jacoby put a hand on his nose and eased the sleeve out of his mouth. He looked at the stallion and patted his neck. Badra looked over to Lucifer and nipped his rump slightly. He snorted and dropped his crown again, glaring at the stubby little creature. He nickered, and it almost sounded like a laugh. He raised his head once more, bringing it to the top of his full 17.2 hands tall. He was done with the pony.
"That's great. Have you guys been in any shows? I'm still trying to get Badra to stop freaking out when she sees yellow flowers. I don't know what it is about them." she said, watching the two horses as her mare nipped Lucifer and he just looked away from all of them. Jacoby and his horse were so much like each other sometimes. Stubborn and so childish. If Jacoby didn't win he just kind of looked away, and that what Lucifer looked like he was doing.

Picasso smelled his food in his stall and panced on the spot slightly. I've shown at x-rails and 18 inch but now I think I'll show at 2"3 now since I've been doing pretty well. she said. I thin khe wants to eat, I'd better let him she added walking down the aisle to his stall and taking his bridle off and letting him stike his head in his feeder for his grain. Head she commanded once his martingale was ready to be taken off and the pomny raise dhis head obidiently. She slid the saddle off and closed the stall behind her. She opened her box with a kick at the lower latch and put her stuff away. she sighed and looked at her horse. No, he didn't need any brushing . She closed the box once she put her crop and helmet in their place and walked back to the group.
I could help you teach Badra to not freak at yellow flowers, I thelped Nicole teach Picasso not to freak at...well...everything Joe said trying to help out a bit.

Lucifer watched the other as he was taken over to his stall. He longed to just kick him upside the head, but ether way he stood obediently next to Jacoby who stood next to Badra and Hailey. He listened quietly as the two girls talked, then watched as Nicole walked away with her pony at her side. He looked over to Joe as he spoke to Hailey.
"Oh that's great. I'll definitely have to see you two jump sometime." she said with a small smile and nodded as she said that Picasso wanted to eat. Badra had eaten before they got here. She looked over to Joe with her blue eyes and smiled. "Thanks. I've been working with her for a while, but she just won't budge. I don't know what I'm doing wrong to get her over the problem." She said, stroking Badra's white neck. She wished the mare would jump, even if the yellow flowers were there, but she just wouldn't do it. She did fine with any other, but she just hated the yellow ones and every time she stopped and almost threw Hailey off. She'd been thrown off multiple times when she first was trying to figure out what Badra was afraid of. |

Nicole let her brown curly locks out of its pony tail and shock it slightly., There, that's better.

"That's great. I think I've tried everything except a working way of getting her near them." she said with a small smile as she looked over at Joe. It was great that he would help her out with Badra. She wanted so much for her to be able to enter a show sometime. Jacoby already did cross country with Lucifer, and they've gotten many ribbons, but Badra was so freaked out by yellow flowers that she didn't budge when she was faced with them.
Jacoby watched as Nicole disappeared into the stable. He stood in silence as the other two talked about Badra, and her problem with the yellow flowers. They had tried everything, except the working method that would get her over herself. It seemed impossible to get her to jump anything with yellow, but Joe seemed to have confidence that they could get her to jump. He and Lucifer did great, which he loved. |
