"Thank you." She said, taking a deep breath. She tumped the bottle quickley and let a bit wetten the cloth, carefully. She pressed the towel to a cut, and breathed slowly. The burning was intense, but she didn't flinch, or wince. Showing that if she had cried that while back, the pain had been so severe it made this brave girl fall.

"Water sounds good.."She said quietly, just now realizing how thirsty she really was. Her mind played the scene over again, his hand striking her with such force, his knife slashing over her body. She bit her lip. It would be atleast three days before she knew if she had conceived to the bastard.

She took a short sip, the refreshing water spilled down her throat. She closed her eyes. The cuts had been cleaned, and some pain had subsided. Soon, she had drifted into a simple sleep.
-One Hour Later-
Destiny jolted upright, "Cobalt!" Her heart in her throat, her mind spun to the black stallion. The Andalusian was a brave soul, and her only friend. Wesley had promised her when he left the equine would be killed, or left to die in suffering. Destiny broke into sobs, hiding her face in her hands. She was tempted to rush to the barn in hopes she could save her horse, but it was immpossible, but it was possible he was still alive.

Brandon had placed a blanket over her body after she had fell asleep and had went to bed him self.
-one hour after getting to sleep-
Brandon jumped when the name cobalt was screamed form his living room. Brandon got up and put his pants on over his boxers he did not need his shirt… he walked out it was more like a run but when he got out to the living room his voice was tired and a bit rushed What’s the matter?

Destiny accepted the offer of bed. But her mind couldn't manouiver the black animal from her mind. She slept with a dreamless sleep for awhile, then the dream...nightmare ... came. The black stallion's eyes rolling white, his neck and flanks lathered to a thick froth, his leather halter glowing a mahogany with his glistening chrome nameplate that clearly read, "Cobalt Night" and beneath, "Owned and Loved By Destiny Harison". His ebonite head high in fear, charcoal mane thick and tumbling. Then Wesley came in, jerking at the stallion's lead chain, gun pointed at the stallions broad forehead.
She woke herself in a cold sweat, tossing and turning, she checked the blinking clock beside her bed. 4:29 AM. She groaned. Trying to block out the stallion's deafening screams. The clock let out a beep as 5:00AM sounded. Destiny, still aching stood and walked silently from the bed. The pain had subsided extremely well. She worked her way into the living room, glancing backwards where Brandon was sleeping in his room. Biting her lip, she eased the door open, to her reliefe, there was no alarm, as carefully as she opened it, she closed it, wincing as it creaked, once satisfied Brandon had woken, she broke into a run. The barn couldn't be that far, maybe three miles?
By the time she reached the barn it was 6:42 AM on her watch, maybe Brandon wouldn't be awake when she got home, how would he react if he found a black stallion in his yard, and what if he woke to find her missing. Why would he care, she was just some stranger he picked up on the street. She swung open the barn door, and a nicker greeted her. A gasp escaped her vocals and she raced forward, wrapping her arms around Cobalt's neck and burrying her head in his thick mane. "Thank god your all right." She cried, slowly letting go of the stallion's neck. Cobalt looked at her as if asking where she had been the whole time. A laugh came through the tears at his quizzical look. "I love you Cobalt." She took his lead chain and tied it to his halter as conviently as possible, and lead him out. Grasping his coarse mane, she pulled upward and landed on the seventeen hand horse's back easily. With a click, Cobalt bolted.
They raced back home...To Brandon's house. The equines strides long and elastic, his breathing easy and loud. She smiled at the sheer joy of riding again. They had quickened they're pace and arrived at the house at 7:12 AM. Destiny tied Bobalt loosely so the stallion could graze. She walked to the door, holding her breath, turned the doorknob, and opened the door, waiting to see what she'd find.

Destiny combed her fingures through her hair to make her appearence somewhat plesant, or to her atleast. Destiny was beautiful. Her ciurves were filled out nicely, and her smokey blue eyes hypnotizing. She walked from the room. Seeing Brandon, she smiled, she was feeling alot better, beside soarness, but that wouldn't stop her. She walked quietly out of the room, hoping to catch his attention without talking, she bolted out the door, but couldn't keep herself from laughing when she slammed the door behind her. Cobalt nickered toward her. Destiny kneeled down and rubbed Gunner. "Thanks boy, I'd probably still be in the alley way if you hadn't come along."

Brandon watched Destiny run out of the house and as he was filling up the glass coffee pot He heard the horse whinnie... What the-... Brandon walked to the door still holding the glass pot in his hand he slowly opened the door...
His jaw hit the ground and the glass pot slipped through his fingers falling to teh hard ground that shattered it into a million peaces... his eyes no longer tired but held the outragous look of beyond shock... his now oversized eyes forzen in place gazing at the huge black horse in his front yard... oh no... no, no, no... this can not be happening.
It took Brandon a minute or so to realize that his coffee pot had broken. he looked down and said with a shocked yet kind of pissed vocal Shit... then he looked back up W-what is this... No, this can not be happening... the noise peace of shit next door will call the law... no, no, no the horse can not be here... sorry but you have to take it some where else... I can not aford a ticket for him being in town... no, no, no... he rammbled on...
