Atherol stopped to a dead halt before the small fortress that looked nothing more than a mound of clay. Who the hell did these people think they were waltzing into his life and stealing his beloved shellan from underneath him. Surely they knew he'd come after them and know that he wasn't going to give them a small slap on the hand and call it even. No, he was standing before this dank foul smelling place with the need of blood. He closed his eyes as he heard the faint sound of thunder, how wonderful that low rumbling sound was. He looked at Kegan and gave him a slight grin his fangs extending down over his lower lip. "It's time for war, hopefully the rains come quickly and help us blend in" he gave a low chuckle and looked at his men. "Tonight," he shouted, "You all prove yourself worthy to fight beside me in my army." with that said he turned and stalked toward the fortress his sword gripped tightly in his hand.
Charles looked and Vick and smirked "Leave the women, it's time we show these bastards we mean business". He looked at Bella and flashed her an evil grin. "Soon you will hear the screams of your beloved hellren as he falls dead to the hard earth." he laughed and looked back at Vick nodded and then shouted for their men to take their battle positions. Only a few more seconds and then all hell would break loose. Bodies would fall everywhere and blood would the stain the dirt and grass.

Bella looked at him angrily letting her fangs bare He will dismantle you. she snarled as they rode off. she looked at Ali. vick laughed baring his fangs kissing Ali on the neck roughly Be back soon love. He raised hsi sword and also ran into battle. God he was excited. His blood was coursing through his veins just waiting to strike. He wanetd blood to be spilled and he wanted to conquer. Nothing less than that....
Kegan felt the rain pelt his back. He could hear the voice of the queen snarling. He grinned Shes ok my lord. He said also hearing Ali. His heart lept andhe drew his sword. His love was ok. Thank god. He gave the battle cheer as well baring his fangs. Let the blood spill. Let the enemy pay for taking the ladies of their kingdom Do not give up! Honor men! He called and charged at them with the king. He ran at Charles colliding swaords with him You will pay for kidnapping the queen and the princess. He snarled slashing at his arm cutting deeply. He laughed curelly and started slashing again. He had to help Ali. He made eyes contact with her briefly..

Charles laughed and glared at Bella "He'll never beat me" he snarled to her and turned drawing his sword just in time as one of Atherol's captains ran up to him slashing at him like a mad man. He saw the man make eye contact with Ali and laughed. "Once you've fallen you can watch as we torture her". He winced as the sword cut into his flesh and raised his own sword gazing the man's shoulder.
Atherol looked at his wife with a look of pure compassion, god he couldn't wait for this fight to be over so he could just hold her in his arms and let her know that everything was going to be alright. He redirected his gaze on Vick and glared angrily at him, "You'll pay for the dastardly deeds you have committed today," he nodded at the sentry in the tree who sent an arrow into Vick's leg "Your people are ashamed of you and today I'm going to tear you apart piece by bloody piece" another arrow was fired. He lifted his sword quickly bringing it down upon his neck.
Ali looked up saw Kegan looking at her with so much love in his eyes. She smiled softly and looked at her cousin. "Everything is going to be alright now" she muttered and blacked out due to exhaustion.

Bella watched looking at Atherol. Vick laughed at him and grinned Your wife was a good fighter He yelped in pain as he slashed him and an arrow hit his leg. He fell to one knee dropping his sword. He screamed before the sword cut off his neck. Bella watched in horror screaming. Atherol! she cried and weakly ran over to him into his arms. She hugged him tightly crying Thank you...thank you. She murmered and looked at him then at Ali Is he going to save her? She asked shakily
Vick slashed at the man as well cutting his head off`1. He saw Ali faint and dropped his sword and ran over Ali! He ran over picking her up nodding at the king Leys go my lord before more men come. He picked her up and walked to his horse carefully putting her on. It was going to be a long night once they got back. The king was happy thoguh to have her back so he was happy..

Ali felt powerful arms pick her up yet she was too tired to care, to fight, and to fear. She'd been through a lot these past few hours and the night was just setting in, it's eerie silence shrouding the land like some forest in a ghost story. Yet wasn't her life just one big ghost story? She was a vampire for god's sake, a creature that all mere mortals feared. She sighed as her head rested on a well muscled chest, she had a feeling that it was Kegan yet everything seemed so far away, the voices were drowned into low mumbles. She felt oh so very weak, yet she was sure she wasn't coming down with anything. Maybe she just needed some blood. She could hear a faint feminine voice asking if she was going to be okay. Ali's mouth opened yet no words would come out, she could only wait, and hope that she'd be home soon. "Kegan.." she mumbled softly waiting for a response from the man she loved.
Atherol pulled his wife into his arms holding her oh so lovingly against his body. He smiled and kissed her forehead nodding as Kegan mentioned that they should leave before more men came and discovered the bloody scene. "She's going to be alright love, and so will you." he mumbled softly to her. He walked over to his horse and helped her onto it and then mounted up behind her, his arms wrapping around her waist as he reached for the reigns."I love you." he whispered against her ear his breath mingling with her cool skin.

Strong arms pulled her close and she hid her face into his warm cehst. Her knees gave out as she held onto him not wanting to let go Oh Atherol. She whimpered not wanting him to let go. She was finally back with him. Her neck had a huge bruise bite mark where that vile Charles had kissed her. She felt him pull her onto his horse and cuddled into his chest as his arms wrapped around ehr small waist. Her fangs slipped from her lips as his words tickled her ear. She looked into his perfect eyes and kissed him weakly. I love you too...thank you. Her head laid on his chest again and she gripped onto his hands gently. It was going to be a lot of explaining when she got back. her hands moved up his leg. She wanted to tell him how strong she had been..but held back...
He stroked ehr delicate cheek as he broguht her up Yes im here Ali. He whispered as he held her waist against him as gentle as she could. He studied her face. Ali badly needed to fed. As well as the queen. He gripped the reins as he saw bruises on her neck. Thank god he had killed that bastard Ali listen....i..love you. He whispered so only she could hear. His whol body tensed waiting at how she would react. He honsetly would not blame her if she spat in his eyes and walked off right now. Too many woman had. He gently nudged his horse into a walk as he watched the love of his life lay in his strong arms. If she was hurt he was going to make those bastards whole kingdom pay! To the castle my lord? He asked hesitantly

She opened her eyes and looked at him as she heard his small confession of sorts. She smiled softly and placed a small gentle hand to his cheek. "I love you too." she whispered softly and saw the look on his face when he realized the bruises on her neck,"Don't worry love, that vile man is gone and a problem no longer" her soft green eyes glowed in the moonlight as she rested her head against his chest again absorbing it's warmth as the castle came into view.
He smiled as her hands rested on his and looked over at Kegan and nodded "Yes, to the castle"[/b] He looked down at his beloved and noticed the small bruises that lined her neck, he felt his anger began to bubble again but hid it between an expression like stone. It felt good to kill that slimy bastard. He shook his head mentally. He wouldn't dwell on this night, no his wife was safe and was back in his protective arms. Nothing bad would ever come to her. "I love you too my sweet, more then you'll ever know"[/size]

She looked up at him smiling weakly but stopped as she saw anger flash in his eyes, yet his face remained calm Its ok love its over. She whsipered and touched his cheek. He was obviously upset and she was sort of still shaky but yes it was over. Her eyes looked back into his as he spoke of she never knowing how much he loved her. Oh Atherol... She kissed him as they started to the castle. She loved him as well more than she could explain. God she would do anything for this man. The castle was in site and her heart pounded. She jsut wanted to be alone with her husband and no one else.
Kegan looked down at her a wide smile spreading across his face Ali.. he said before kissing her lips gently. He looked up quickly though as the king said yes the castle. He nodded and started off towards it in a fsat pace but made it smooth for Ali. Yes! He loved her back! He could yell to the world but he was not sure the royals wold be impressed or happy. once we get back i will comfort you. He whispered brushing her hair from her gorgeous eyes. He nodded as she said the man was deaed and it was over. Taking a deep breath he stopped his horse and got off. He pulled her off and looked at the king as they were back.

Atherol pulled his horse up in the courtyard by the large wooden doors that led into the elegant parlor. Dismounting quickly he pulled Bella into his arms and held her close to his body as he kissed the side of her neck, "Tonight it's going to be only me and you". He gave her a quick smile and nodded as a guard grabbed the reins of his steed walking it back to the stable. He walked up the few steps that led into the castle and stepped into the dimly lit room his hand resting gently on his wife's waist. "If only our room was closer," he muttered huskily gazing into her beautiful eyes.
She smiled at him and gave a small laugh "What sort of comfort" she whispered softly as she watched Atherol slow to a halt a few feet in front of them. She felt so safe in Kegan's arms and she didn't want to have to go to her lonely room in the castle. Maybe she could stay with him tonight for she just didn't feel safe anywhere else. She looked into his eyes her hands resting on each of his cheeks "Please don't make me go into the castle, I want to stay with you". She gave him a gentle smile and gave him a small kiss once the her cousin and her husband were finally out of eyesight

She gripped onto him as he pulled her off the horse and kissed her neck. Little shivers went crawling down her as she gazed up at him Thanks. She whispered so the guards did not here and he grasped her wasit pulling her along the castle. A small giggle left her as he spoke and she felt eagerness flow through her Maybe our new rule should be all bedrooms should be closest to the door. Her voice was shaky with huskiness as well as she kissed his lips pulling him into their room and kicked the door shut with her foot. She did not want to rember what had happened earlier this night. She just wanetd him...
He looekd at the castle feeling the need not to leave her. He looekd into her eyes and kissed her lips I will not leave. He whispered and then picked her up walking to his cabin for the knights. If she did not want to be seen by them than they would not be. He kissed her a bot more hungrily this time and used his foot to pen the door God Ali i love you, i was so woried. He whispered nuzzling her neck gently and then set her on her bed and took off his armour..

She walked over to him as he was getting out of his armor. "I know, but I'm alright now and tonight I'm going to show you just how much I love you" She gave him a seductive smile and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I still remember the day you came here. I looked at you and knew we were meant to be together." She pressed her lips against his, giving him teasing kisses. Her green eyes shimmered in the dimly lit room, god she loved this man so much and only wished the others could understand that they were meant for each other.
He laughed as he heard her statement "I might just have to do that." he kissed her passionately his eyes holding a faint glimmer of humor. If only she knew her own powers against him, the way she moved her hips set his being aflame and it didn't take a genius to have sensual thoughts about what he'd like to do. He walked over to the bed and laid her on the fresh silk sheets his lips trailing the sexy curve of her neck.

She felt the bed behind her and sued her elbows to hold her up but they soon failed and he was ontop of her. Gently, she wrapped her arms around his waist pulling him closer so she could kiss him deeper. she gasped as he kissed her neck biting her lip You always knew how to get a reaction out of me. She whispered her hot breath tingling his ear as her words where shaky...
He looked at her resting his hands on her sexy hips as she wrapped her slender arms around hsi neck. He nipped ehr lips smiling Love i felt the same the moment i layed eyes on you. God, she was so lucky to have someone like him who needed her as much as she needed them. She moved her kisses lower to his neck and chest.
He chuckled as he looked into her eyes "Funny, I was about to say the same thing about you," he heard her soft moan and felt his control start to slip, god he wanted to go slowly but damn it was so hard. Nope niether one of them really had any control at this point. she gripped onto him as he kissed the sfot skin above her breast above her corset. She gasped lightly and closed her eyes Your wicked Atherol. she whispered huskily and pulled off his shirt splaying her cold hadns across his hot skin. Her body shivered a bit and she looked into his eyes smiling. God she was loosing her control. Pretty soon she might just push him down on the bed and ahve her way with him....

Ali shivered as the cool air whipped across her bare skin. She couldn't believe that she had someone like Kegan who loved her. She stifled a giggle as a faint look of irritation crossed his face as he tried to remove her corset. She moved her hands behind her clasping his in hers as she guided him along the many laces undoing each one slowly..making him wait to see her lush breasts.
Atherol groaned softly as Bella's hands moved up his chest. He looked into her eyes and look of passion in his dark eyes. "I wish I could take it slow," he whispered against her lips "but I want you so badly I'm about to explode." he stood up and undid his pants and stepped out of them as they fell to the hardwood floor. He undid the laces of her corset and teased her breasts with his mouth. He chuckled as he laid over top of her his hands braced balancing himself so he didn't "crush" her
