Ember smiled as he worked his fingers through hers.Aw, darn! she replied jokingly.Ember blushed as he helped her down. Walking beside him, her dress swayed with each step, ehr heels clicked on the concrete, and her hair blew in the nightly breeze. It was a beautiful night, Ember thought as she saw a family of black birds settling in for the night in one of the small trees in the parking lot.Not wanting to make a fool of her self, Ember slowly looked over at Troy, studying his features one last time before she would be more visible in the theatre light.Have you thought of what we are going to watch? Ember asked in a calm manner. |

He laughed softly as she gave a joking reply and the blush graced her features in the dim light of the movie theater’s parking lot. He walked beside her and let his eyes wander the sights of the night as they walked in through the doors. He opened it for her before allowing his own figure to follow her in. His dark blue eyes adjusted to the bright and very colorful lights that now filled his sights. They hid beneath the shadow of his hat and that allowed them to adjust easier without being in the full glare. "Umm, I don't know. Hitman sounds good, but No Country for Old Men sounds interesting as well." he spoke calmly, lyrics sounding unsure of what to watch. |

Ooo, I've been wanting to watch Country for Old Men, it looks really good, Ember's ice blue eyes searched his expression But it is your surprise so you get to pick what ever you want. Ember smiled looking at his cowboy hat then trying to find his eyes.

"Well, I think I have decided then. No Country for Old Men it is." Troy spoke as a smile turned his lips into an upward curl. His dark blue eyes were hidden for a moment before he saw that ember was giving a good attempt to try and catch them. The smile remained on his features as a playful glint was caught in his eyes before he turned them away, making it nearly impossible for her to meet them with her icy blue optics. He gently eased her into the line and as they got up he asked for two tickets to No Country for Old Men and paid for hers before she was able to reject the offer. He handed her the ticket and smiled slightly, giving a brief chance for her to meet his eyes.
"Want anything to snack on? I'm getting some licorice and a pop." he asked as his eyes wandered up to the menu. He had a sweet tooth and would be happy with most of the candy that was sold here, but he picked his favorite along with a drink and would be set for the movie. He waited to hear if she wanted anything. |

Ember took her ticket and smiled when she caught a quick view of his eyes, it was kind of beginning to become a game. Coming to the candy counter she picked out her favorite type of skittles and got herself a Dr.Pepper.Allright, she smiled at him,lets go. Ember,altough wearing heels, jogged ahead of him. She let her eyes do the talking as she gave him a look as if to say come and get me.Without warning she disappered into the theatre where the movie was being played, it was already dark because the previews had started. Quickly running up to the top row, she sat down and waited for him to follow. |

He bought the candy and a coca cola so he'd be set for the movie. He laughed as she jogged ahead of him. Wow, she was pretty agile in those heels. He wouldn't be able to jog in heels, but then again he'd never worn them so he had an excuse not to be able to do such a thing. A grin stretched across his slightly tanned features and he quickly followed her into the theater. His eyes followed her up the stairs and he made his way up after her. A kid and her friends ran out into the isle and almost made him fall, but he regained his balance and climbed up the rest of the stairs. He eased his figure down the row to sit in the seat beside her. "Nice choice for a seat." he said, a small grin staying upon his features. Now she'd never be able to find his eyes since they were sitting in the dark. He set his cup in the holder on his left side and set the candy on his lap as he propped his feet up on the chair in front of him. |

Ember smiled as she watched him climb up to her seat.Opening her bag of skittles she took an orange one,that was her favorite.Still not able to see his eyes, she spoke to him,We are the only ones in this row. she said with a smile.Ember immediately stopped talking when the previews to the movie came on. |

"I can see that..." he said quietly as he opened the bag of licorice and pulled a red strand out. He set the bag down again and held the candy in his hand as he chewed on it, the sugar tasted sweet but his eyes kept wandering over to the silent Ember that sat beside him. She'd gotten really quiet as the previews came on. He'd seen the preview before, and he shifted slightly, still keeping his feet propped up on the chair in front of him. |

Ember smiled as she felt his eyes upon her. She usually wasn't quiet during movies but she wanted to see what he would do.Gracefully leaning over,her fiery red hair fell as she stole one of his licorice,chomping down on it and smiling at him. The light that reflected off the movie screen hit her ice blue eyes, causing then to dance with all different colors.Her eyes changed colors with what she was wearing and what mood she was in.Most of the time though they stayed their usual icey blue with bright yellow streaks running through them.How she longed to see his eyes. She was still to afraid to pull his hat off,so she would have to settle for not seeing them for now. As Troy's feet rustled on the back of the seats in front of them, the feature started. |

"Eh..." he said, trying to act as if e was shocked that she had taken a piece of his candy, but a laugh was laced within his vocals and he couldn't kept that kind of shocked look upon his features. "That was my candy. You better gimme some of yours now. I like the red ones." he said, holding his hand out with a smile. He turned his head to look at her, giving her the chance to look at him and see his eyes, but not really be able to see the deep blue color that they were. The shadow of his hat, and the darkness that had once overwhelmed the theater had hidden his eyes, but now it was simply the shadow of his hat because it had significantly brightened up in here. His hat wasn't something that came off though. It came off for one thing and one thing only. |

Ember smiled and picked out a couple red skittles. Here you go... she said with a playful grin.She could see the vague outline of his eyes but not the actual color. Noticing it was his hat that was causing his eyes to hide she asked,Do your ever take you hat off? |

“Not very often.” he said, a small smirk settling upon his tanned features as he tossed a skittle into his mouth. It bothered people that he didn't take his hat off, and he could never understand why it bothered them so much. He liked his hat, and thought he looked weird without it. His hair was nothing super special to look at, it was just medium length and dark brown, same as most people in his family. His eyes were different though, everyone in his family had bright green eyes, and he had deep blue ones. He wasn't hiding them on purpose; it was just something that happened when he wore his hat. His eyes stayed upon the movie screen for a minute before picking up his pop and taking a drink. “Why, does it look dumb?” he asked wonderingly as he let his eyes wander back over to her again. |

Ember giggled,No,It's just I want to see your eyes.while they had been talking the movie had already played about half way through.I like your hat.she said getting a little bit closer grabbing his arm.Ember layed her head on his shoulder then held out another red skittle in her hand.It's the last one....Do you want it? Ember quickly closed her hand before he could snatch it.If you want it you have to come and get it. leaving all the other candy behind she hopped up and ran out of the theatre. Looking down the hall she ran towards the candy bar. All the movies were playing so no one was walking about. Calmly she walked to the middle of the main hall and waited for him to pursue her. |

He chuckled softly, finding that a somewhat strange reason to ask why he didn't take his hat off. Dark blue eyes with little flecks of blue weren't that great he didn't think. He wanted to have green eyes like everyone else in his family, but he was different and had eyes the color of a deep ocean that reflected the sun light with lighter blue flecks. He adored emerald green eyes and he was left out with his blue. He smiled though as she said she liked his hat and gripped his arm as she leaned her head against him. She held out a red skittle and stated that it was the last one.
He followed her down the stairs, using people's chairs as leverage to help him take three at a time so he stayed on her heels. He might never actually admit it to anyone, but he'd been forced to take gymnastics for three years of his life. He slide out the door after her and watched as she stood in the middle of the main hallway. "You should have told me to put on some better pants if you planned on making me run a marathon." he said with a laugh as he walked closer to her. He wasn't affected by the running because he kept himself in shape, but these pants restricted a lot of movement. |

Ember could feel the skittle melting in her hand.Its sticky redness all over her palm. She heard as Troy remarked about his pants,You should have told me you were so much fun and I would have worn better shoes. she smiled. Seeing as he was still a few yards away she quickly slipped off her shoes and slid them under a nearby bench. Now I can run better, and I do have to warn you I was a VIP member of the track team in Highschool. she said with a playful giggle before she shot off down another hallway.All the lights had been dimmed because it was movie hour, her bare feet skidded across the carpet as she slid to a stop to hide behind a giant carboard advertisement. Ember tried to hide her breathing as much as she could, she peeked through the other side of the advertiement to see if Troy,her handsome date who had eyes she would never see!,was coming. |
